About the Job

This part-time opportunity is available at our GSS SD Howard Ctr location, where you'll work closely with our healthcare team to provide exceptional care to our residents. As an Occupational Therapist, you'll be responsible for evaluating physical, cognitive, developmental, and psychosocial abilities of clients/patients/residents; developing realistic therapy goals and administering appropriate occupational therapy programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate clients/patients/residents' functional, cognitive, or behavioral impairments and design individualized occupational therapy treatments
  • Develop and implement effective therapy plans that promote independence and quality of life
  • Conduct assessments and provide interventions to improve clients/patients/residents' ability to perform daily activities
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
  • Licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state(s) of practice
  • Certification through the National Board of Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for health care providers
