Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the disassembly of vehicle components as necessary for repairs.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates on repair progress and addressing any inquiries.
  • Inspect vehicles to determine the level of damage incurred from accidents or collisions.
  • Perform a variety of body repair tasks, including frame straightening, dent removal, panel repair or replacement, and welding.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of completed repairs to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer satisfaction.
  • Follow all safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment.
  • Explain repair processes to customers, providing estimates and addressing any questions they may have.
  • Complete other assigned duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Some hands-on experience in auto body repair or collision repair is preferred.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other specialized tools commonly used in automotive repair.
  • Ability to identify and rectify minor imperfections in bodywork and paint finishes to achieve superior results.
  • Capability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and transporting heavy equipment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team of experienced technicians.
  • Willingness to learn and develop skills in auto body repair.
  • Basic communication skills for interaction with team members and, when necessary, with customers.
  • Must successfully pass pre-employment background checks.
