Job Summary:As a Physical Therapist at Kaiser Permanente, you will be responsible for the physical therapy management of patients. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care and achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:- Evaluate patients and develop personalized treatment plans to address their physical therapy needs.
- Conduct clinical testing and assessments to determine muscle strength, reflexes, sensation, coordination, range of motion, and other sensory motor skills.
- Administer or prescribe modalities and other physical agents to promote healing and recovery.
- Develop and implement exercise programs to improve patient function and mobility.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Document patient progress and outcomes in accordance with Kaiser Permanente's policies and procedures.
- Completion of an accredited PT training program with a Bachelors, Masters, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy.
- Current Physical Therapist License (California) or Physical Therapist License - Applicant (California) required at hire.
- Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association required at hire.
- National Provider Identifier required at hire.
