Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at Volumetric Building Companies. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for maintaining vendor contact lists, issuing purchase orders, and coordinating logistics for inbound materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor contact lists and account information.
- Issue purchase orders and track inventory levels to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Conduct material take-offs to determine order quantities and maintain accurate records.
- Reconcile material shortages and work with suppliers to resolve issues.
- Coordinate logistics for inbound materials and ensure efficient delivery to our manufacturing facilities.
- Support cross-functional teams across the organization to achieve business objectives.
- Maintain inventory control throughout the plant and ensure compliance with ERP process requirements.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers to expand the vendor base and negotiate favorable terms.
Requirements:
- Strong leadership skills and ability to build high-performing teams.
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in computer skills, including Excel, ERP, and Microsoft Office.
- Strong team player with the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Construction Management, or Accounting preferred.
