Job Title: CT Technologist

As a CT Technologist at Adventist Health, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care by operating computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' bones, organs, and tissue, used to diagnose medical conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients ranging in age from adolescence through geriatric, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the imaging process.
  • Produce sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation, utilizing advanced imaging techniques to provide accurate diagnoses.
  • Utilize the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) and teleradiology system to correctly transfer images to the appropriate location, ensuring seamless communication with radiologists and other healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain accurate records, files, and billing information, ensuring the integrity of patient medical images and data, and adhering to regulatory requirements.
  • Perform routine maintenance and calibration of equipment, as well as manage supply inventory, to ensure optimal imaging performance and minimize downtime.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the imaging department.
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology: Preferred
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists: R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) OR R.T. (R)(ARRT): Required
  • Radiologic Tech (RT) in the state of practice: Required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification: Required
  • Fluoroscopy license in state of employment: Preferred
  • Venipuncture certification: Preferred
  • ARRT-Radiography (ARRT-R) or ARRT-Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT): Required
