The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in user research, interactive design, and visual design, providing guidance and technical expertise for complex user experience activities.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct user research and testing to gather insights and inform design decisions.
- Create and review documentation of research findings for presentation to product and development teams.
- Develop and modify user personas based on research findings.
- Participate in the creation of concepts, information architecture, user interface designs, wireframes, storyboards, prototypes, and specifications.
- Utilize Figma for UX design tasks, demonstrating expertise and proficiency.
- Synthesize information across multiple factors to inform design decisions.
- Apply company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues.
- Build effective relationships with team members and cross-functional teams.
- Communicate effectively, ensuring understanding and advocating for the user experience across the firm.
- Bachelor's degree in psychology, user experience, design, human-computer interaction, or a related discipline; advanced degree preferred.
- 6-8 years of experience in UX design, with a focus on user research, interactive design, and visual design.
- Experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
- Proficiency in Figma and other UX design tools.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to understand and advocate for different perspectives.
- Ability to work independently and exercise discretion under limited supervision.
