Salary Information
The pay package for this role is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week, with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined. The estimated annual salary for this position ranges from $110,000 to $140,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
Key Responsibilities
As a Med Surg specialist, you will provide direct patient care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective treatment plans. Your primary focus will be on delivering exceptional patient outcomes, ensuring timely discharges, and maintaining accurate records. You will also contribute to quality improvement initiatives, participate in ongoing education and training, and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must possess a current nursing license, active BLS certification, and at least 1 year of relevant experience in Med Surg. A strong commitment to patient-centered care, excellent communication skills, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment are essential qualities for this position. Additional requirements include flexibility to work 12-hour shifts and adaptability to changing situations.
