Position: Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Planning and Budgeting: Develop and maintain Excel-based models for planning and forecasting.
  • P&L Development: Contribute to the formulation of Profit and Loss statements, including revenue generation, operating expenses, balance sheet management, and cash flow analysis.
  • Business Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of business trends and performance metrics.

Monthly Reporting:
  • Perform variance analysis comparing actual results to budget and prior year figures, focusing on revenue and operating expenses.
  • Maintain and analyze product P&L statements, providing insightful summaries for management.
  • Assist business operations with special projects and ad hoc financial requests.

Examples of Projects:
Conduct multi-year financial projections, profitability assessments, and investment return analyses.

Monthly Business Reviews:
  • Prepare comprehensive materials for monthly reviews, including period assessments and corporate cost evaluations.
  • Execute various ad-hoc financial analyses as required.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in Accounting or Finance, demonstrating increasing responsibility in business operations and profit analysis.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, including complex functions.
  • Experience with business intelligence reporting tools such as BI-360, Hyperion, or COGNOS.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and ERP platforms like JD Edwards or SAP is preferred.
