We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Specialist to join our team at Soliant. As an SLP Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive speech and language assessments, developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students, and providing direct therapy services to students in both individual and group settings.
Key Responsibilities- Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct thorough assessments of students' speech and language skills to identify areas of strength and weakness.
- IEP Development: Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) that meet the unique needs of each student.
- Therapy Services: Provide direct therapy services to students in both individual and group settings, using evidence-based practices and techniques to promote effective communication and language skills.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student development and ensure that students receive comprehensive support services.
- Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of student progress and treatment plans, including progress notes, IEPs, and other relevant records.
- Education: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Licensure: Valid Texas state license in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Skills: Strong diagnostic and therapeutic skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
