Recreation Therapist

The salary range for this position is $62,400-$83,200 per year, with comprehensive benefits packages including medical, dental, and vision coverage, life insurance, vacation time, paid sick leave, and a 401(k) retirement plan.

We are seeking a Recreation Therapist to create and lead recreational programs, focusing on hobby and interest building, physical activities, and special events. This role is part of a holistic approach that includes behavioral skill building, medication support, dietary teaching, and pre-vocational training.

• Develop and implement recreational programs tailored to individual needs and interests
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination
• Provide guidance and support to clients in achieving their goals and developing essential life skills

To be successful in this role, you will require:

• A Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy, Music Therapy, Dance Therapy, Art Therapy, or Recreation Therapy
• Registration or eligibility for registration as an Occupational Therapist, Music Therapist, Dance Therapist, Art Therapist, or Recreation Therapist
• A valid California driver's license and current CPR certification
• Two years of experience in a social or recreational program within the past five years, with one year of full-time experience in a client activities program in a healthcare setting (preferred)
