Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Fusion Medical Staffing-Radiology is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join their team for a travel assignment in Sonora, California.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to work with our team in Sonora, California. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to nuclear medicine, including preparing patients for procedures, operating imaging equipment, and analyzing images to diagnose and treat medical conditions.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare patients for nuclear medicine procedures, including administering medications and positioning patients for imaging.
  • Operate nuclear medicine imaging equipment, including cameras and computers, to capture high-quality images of patients.
  • Analyze images to diagnose and treat medical conditions, including cancer, cardiovascular disease, and neurological disorders.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and radiologists, to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient procedures and results.

Requirements:

  • One to three years of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
  • Current certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) or Registered Technologist (RT).
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.
