Medical Support Professional

We are seeking a Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for providing vital signs, interviewing patients and families, and charting.
Key responsibilities include:
- Adhering to the time and attendance policy as written in the employee handbook
- Collaborating with healthcare providers in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the needs of patients and peers
- Maintaining positive effective communication with providers, supervisors, peers, and subordinates
- Ensuring Provider's orders are directed to the various appropriate departments
- Knowledgeable / Assist providers as requested with exams, procedures, removal of sutures, etc.
Requirements include:
- Certified or Registered Medical Assistant with - 2 years' experience preferred
- Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant Program required
- Submit proof of externship hours from an accredited program required
- Current BLS Certification through the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or American Safety and Health Institute Required
Additional requirements for the Cardio Department include:
- ACLS Certification through the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or American Health and Safety Institute Required
