Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Select Specialty Hospital - Ft. Smith. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients and develop effective treatment plans to meet their unique needs.
  • Provide respiratory care to patients with complex medical and surgical conditions, including the insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes.
  • Promote continuous quality improvement and contribute to a culture of excellence in patient care.
  • Teach and counsel patients and their families to ensure they receive the best possible care.
Requirements
  • Active CRT or RRT credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) or state equivalent.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date.
  • Current state licensure.
  • ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
  • One (1) year of related experience.
