Job Description

We are seeking a skilled TIG Welder to join our team at our Beavercreek facility. As a TIG Welder, you will be responsible for welding together metal components as specified by layout, blueprints, diagrams, or manufacturing operations sheet (MOS), using TIG welding equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Welds together metal components using TIG welding equipment
  • Connects cables from welding unit to obtain amperage, voltage, slope, and pulse as specified
  • Examines weld for bead size and other specifications
  • Manually applies filler rod to supply weld metal
  • Cleans weld joint or workpiece
  • Prepares rework parts for welding
  • Positions or clamps workpieces together or assembles them in a jig or fixture
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Successful completion of a TIG Welding Training Course (formal program)
  • Or previous experience as a TIG welder with 6 months experience
  • Successful completion of the Unison-Dayton TIG Welding Assessment

  • Team Player and willing to operate in a professional environment

  • Excellent attendance and punctuality history and availability to work overtime as needed
  • Makes decisions based on experience and available data
  • Strives to meet or exceed job requirements
What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary of $26.50 per hour based on experience, with an additional $1.50 premium for 3rd shift. We also provide a safe and healthy work environment, with most protective gear including hearing protection if needed. Our facility is climate-controlled, and we have been awarded OSHAS's highest safety rating.
