Nurse Practitioner

Crossing Rivers Health is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Inpatient Services team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct nursing care to patients, families, and communities, responding to common and complex nursing diagnoses and collaborative practice.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive admission to post-discharge nursing care through direct care and delegation of care to other nursing personnel.
- Use complex communication skills to provide teaching and promote effective coping behaviors.
- Manage nursing care of patients to provide high-quality, safe, and cost-effective care from admission to post-discharge.
- Collaborate with other healthcare team members to facilitate health promotion and continuity of care.
- Perform various administrative functions, such as maintaining accurate reports and records, administering medications, and monitoring patients' medical information and vital signs.
- Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans.
- Modify patient treatment plans as indicated by patients' responses and conditions.
- Direct or oversee less-experienced nursing or healthcare personnel.
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (two-year college or technical school) required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (four-year college) preferred.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license and ability to practice in the State of Wisconsin.
- Certified BLS and ACLS according to policy.
