Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and implement cloud-based IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS solutions using AWS services.
Collaborate with infrastructure teams to develop, deploy, and support cloud and hybrid applications.
Assist in architecting and designing cloud-based infrastructure to ensure high availability, scalability, and security.
Develop and implement automation to support continuous delivery and continuous integration solutions using tools like Terraform and CloudFormation.
Provide consulting and help build pipelines for application teams integrating cloud services into their applications.
Design and develop platform engineering and automation for governing usage of cloud services and application autonomy.
Collaborate with the Cloud Security and Identity Teams on the administration and engineering of Role-Based Access Controls and processes.
Help design and develop Governance of cloud infrastructure, including both technical controls and cost governance structures.
Create and update support documentation and standards.
Develop automated methodologies for deployment activities, configuration management, supporting systems, and business processes.
Use Jira to track and manage all work through the development life cycle.
Proactively analyze and contribute improvements to support our deployment processes.
Investigate and contribute to solving various issues in production environments.
Drive compliance and security efforts related to systems managed by the team.

Requirements:

AWS professional and/or specialty certification, such as Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer.
Experience in implementing Secure Architectures for private and/or public internet-facing systems.
Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, infrastructure, and best practices, such as K8S, Containers, Serverless, Microservices.
Strong understanding of IaC, CI/CD Pipelines, Terraform, CloudFormation, Bitbucket, Bamboo, etc.
Strong understanding of networking and internet protocols and distributed systems.
Experience designing and developing resilient, highly available, and scalable systems for the cloud.
Experience in cloud cost optimization and budget management.
Proficiency in Python, AWS CLI.
Working knowledge of Shared Responsibility models.
Prior experience building out CI/CD pipelines.
Experience working in Agile teams, and related tools (Jira, Confluence, etc).
Background in software development a plus.
Understanding of the financial markets a plus.
Azure experience a plus.
BA or BS in any STEM or related field. Masters a plus.
