Accounting Finance Professional

The JOSEPH P. ADDABBO FAMILY HEALTH CENTER, INC. is seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Accountant to join our team.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a strong background in accounting and finance to support our organization's financial operations. The successful candidate will have excellent analytical and communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for various accounts reconciliations, variance analysis, assisting in audit and budget preparation. Key duties include:

• Bank Reconciliation: Prepare monthly bank reconciliations for all accounts, collaborating with Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable teams to ensure accurate entries in the general ledger accounting system.
• Financial Reporting: Ensure daily banking transactions are posted accurately and timely, and prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Tax Compliance: Perform all duties related to filing yearly 1099 tax forms, ensuring vendor updates and accuracy.
• Payroll Management: Prepare monthly payroll entries and ensure accuracy before uploading to the accounting system.
• Audit Support: Assist in external audits, meeting deadlines and delivering accurate results.
• Fixed Assets: Manage fixed assets, working closely with outside consultants when necessary.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or business-related field.
• Experience: At least 5-7 years' experience in direct accounting practice, preferably in healthcare or non-profit sectors.
• Skills: Solid understanding of GAAP, excellent analytical and communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel), knowledge of Peachtree Accounting Software and QuickBooks.

$65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
