Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our team at the Ford-Lincoln Veteran Careers Program. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing assigned work with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair malfunctions in vehicles, ensuring quality of work and meeting customer expectations.
  • Coordinate with the Parts Department to ensure availability of parts and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Document work performed and notify Service Consultants of any additional work required or repairs that cannot be completed within the promised time.
  • Stay up-to-date with factory technical bulletins and attend factory-sponsored training classes to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Work closely with others or independently, as needed, to achieve team goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • At least 3 years of experience working as a Technician in an automotive service department.
  • Valid driver's license and a clear driving record.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment screening requirements, including drug screening, Motor Vehicle record report, and background investigation.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work with the public.
  • Manual dexterity in both hands and the ability to manipulate small objects.
