Job Summary:
Mercy Hospital Kingfisher is seeking a skilled Emergency Department Registered Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in emergency nursing.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program.
- Current RN licensure in the hiring state and/or compact licensure.
- Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
Work Schedule:
This is a PRN position, requiring 36 hours per six-week schedule, with 12 hours on weekends. One summer and one winter holiday are also required.
Certifications:
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.
