We're currently hiring for:
Hospice Registered Nurse
Full Time (Pitt/Edgecombe Counties)
Key Job Duties:
- Implement evidence-based nursing practices to deliver high-quality patient care.
Main Requirements:
- Current RN licensure in state of practice; successful completion of nursing education from approved school of nursing; two years of clinical nursing experience; and one year of hospice nursing experience preferred.
- Deep understanding of the home health and hospice care program framework, function, and organization, including the nurse's role within the patient care team.
- Demonstrate working knowledge of nursing principles and practices in line with the nursing practice act, agency policies and procedures, and reimbursement guidelines.
- Engage in ongoing learning with 12 hours of continuing education annually; hold CPR certification; accept travel assignments based on agency needs.
