Lone Star College is seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Faculty member to teach Medical Radiologic Technology courses. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the field and excellent teaching skills.
Key Responsibilities- Teach Medical Radiologic Technology courses at various times and locations
- Create engaging lessons that promote student involvement and application of the material
- Submit required college reports and forms in a timely manner
- Utilize a course syllabus for each course, following established institutional guidelines
- Maintain professional relationships with students, colleagues, and the community
- Attend meetings, trainings, and orientations as required
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology and 2 years nonteaching work experience in the field
- Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, registration in the pertinent discipline and Licensure by the Texas Medical Board, Medical Radiologic Technologist Certification Program
The work requires some physical exertion, such as long periods of standing; walking over rough, uneven, or rocky surfaces; recurring bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, reaching, or similar activities; or recurring lifting of moderately heavy items, such as typewriters and record boxes.
