  • Has full technical responsibility for interpreting, organizing, executing, and coordinating architectural design assignments.
  • Responsible for specific technical design aspects of an assigned project, including investigation, evaluation, and recommendation of design solutions that best meet the client's need.
  • Frequently researches unusual and non-recurring problems.
  • Independently applies advanced architectural concepts and designs.
  • Carries out assignments requiring the development of new or improved techniques and procedures.
  • May provide technical guidance to earlier career design professionals.
  • May assist with proposal preparation/business development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture and four years of relevant experience.
  • Proven work experience in medium to large-scale commercial projects and construction.
  • Experience on project design and technical drawings, including conceptual design, schematic design, design development, and construction documents.
  • Knowledge of architectural principles and Florida building codes.
  • Understanding of electrical, mechanical, and structural systems for system design integration.
  • Conduct site visits and surveys to gather information for design development.
  • Strong graphic design skills for creating visually appealing presentations.
  • Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and organizational skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
