Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Medication Dispensing: Proficiently dispense medications to patients, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Pharmacy Operations: Oversee the daily operations of the retail pharmacy, including inventory management, ordering, and receiving.
  • Patient Counseling: Provide excellent patient counseling and education on medication use and potential side effects.
  • Quality Control: Participate in and follow standards of departmental quality control and quality assurance programs.
  • Leadership: Supervise pharmacy interns and technicians, providing guidance and support as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: Professional Pharmacy degree required; Doctorate preferred.
  • Licensure: Must hold and maintain current Wisconsin Pharmacist license.
  • Certification: BLS certification required.
  • Experience: 1+ years related work experience required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Computer Proficiency: Intermediate to expert proficiency with computers required.
  • Clinical Skills: Possess exceptional clinical skills and knowledge of pharmacy law.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal communication, oral and written communication, and problem-solving skills.
