Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care within the scope of the Practical Nurse Act of Pennsylvania.
  • Effectively communicate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Administer medications and injections, take vital signs, and perform basic diagnostic tests as ordered by the healthcare provider.
  • Observe and report changes in patient symptoms, condition, and reactions to medications or treatments.
  • Assist and support staff by responding to patient call lights, answering telephones, and transporting residents.
  • Supervise and monitor patient care provided by unlicensed staff.
  • Support a culture of safety in the workplace and recognize hazards in a timely manner.
Requirements
  • Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) License.
  • Valid CPR/BLS Certification.
  • Current TB Testing Documentation.
  • Current Physical Examination.
