Job Summary:

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and skilled Private Duty Nurse RN to provide high-quality care to adult patients in their homes. As a Private Duty Nurse, you will work one-on-one with patients, providing personalized care and support to help them achieve their goals and maintain their independence.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement and manage individualized care plans for adult patients
  • Provide skilled nursing care, including wound care, medication management, and vital sign monitoring
  • Assess and address patient needs, including physical, emotional, and social needs
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Document patient progress and care provided in a timely and accurate manner

Requirements:

  • Current, unrestricted RN license in the state of practice
  • Minimum 6 months of recent experience as a Licensed Nurse in a clinical care setting
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical demands of the job
