Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Christus Health. As a Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of diagnostic imaging procedures, including routine and advanced imaging techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  • Imaging Procedures: Perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures, utilizing proper technique and providing clear procedural instructions to patients.
  • Patient Evaluation: Evaluate patients for clinical contrast history and potential contraindications.
  • Quality Assurance: Adhere to established section and organizational protocols, QA guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
  • Patient Care: Interact appropriately with patients and all care providers, coordinating and prioritizing procedures to maintain high levels of patient care and continuity.
  • Equipment Operation: Assist Radiologists or other medical professionals in invasive and fluoroscopic procedures, using equipment to pinpoint anatomical locations.
  • Exam Room Preparation: Ensure exam rooms are neat, clean, and adequately stocked prior to exams, and maintain compliance with Infection Control standards.
  • Charge Entry: Correctly code and enter charges for exams performed.
  • Patient Adaptation: Adapt to assigned patient assessment, treatment, and/or care methods to accommodate unique physical, psychosocial, cultural, spiritual, age-specific, and other developmental needs of each patient served.
  • Confidentiality: Perform all duties in a manner that protects patient confidentiality and does not solicit or disclose confidential information unless necessary in the performance of assigned job duties.

Requirements
  • Experience: 1-3 years of experience in a hospital setting preferred.
  • Certifications: Current registration from The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists required.
  • Licensure: Current state licensure required.
