Unlock the Power of Interactive HistoryCalifornia Weekly Explorer is seeking a skilled Historical Storyteller to bring our unique approach to elementary education to life. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to engage students in their grade-level history curriculum through interactive presentations and performances.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging presentations and performances that make history come alive for students
- Collaborate with our team to create interactive and immersive educational experiences
- Travel to various schools throughout the region, presenting to students and teachers
- Utilize our online calendar system to stay organized and manage school information
- Prepare and submit reports, including monthly expense reports and evaluations of schools
Requirements:
- Experience in teaching, performing, or a related field
- Strong social, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
- Pass a DOJ background check
