Shop Foreman

We are seeking a highly skilled Shop Foreman to join our team at Power Design. As a Shop Foreman, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our rental and temporary power solutions. This position requires a strong understanding of electrical systems and a proven ability to manage materials and equipment.

• Facilitate the efficient flow of materials into the temporary power and rental area.
• Manage the refurbishment and repair processes for returned tools, ensuring they meet quality standards.
• Assess tools for retirement or scrapping, coordinating timely replacements to maintain optimal inventory levels.
• Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate repairs and material movements.
• Assist and train technicians in best practices for equipment repair and safety.
• Seek innovative ways to decrease turnaround times and enhance operational efficiency.
• Conduct thorough inspections of completed repairs to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to standards.
• Coordinate the scheduling and maintenance of equipment to ensure it is always ready for operations.

• Proven experience in the electrical field, preferably in new ground-up construction.
• An electrical trade school diploma or college degree is preferred.
• Familiarity with temporary power systems is a plus.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with a talent for process improvement.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
