- Provide information and support to parents and families as needed
- Supervise students and provide guidance and support as needed
- Master's degree in Speech and Language Pathology
- Certification of Clinical Competency as a Speech Pathologist
- Current Michigan License in Speech Language Pathology
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
The Speech and Language Therapist will work in a school setting, interacting with students, teachers, and other school staff. The position requires the ability to sit for extended periods, hear conversation in a quiet and/or noisy environment, and tell where a sound is coming from and tell the difference among bells, buzzers, beeps, horns, etc.
