Instructional Designer

At Children's National Health System, we are seeking an experienced Instructional Designer to join our team. As an Instructional Designer, you will play a critical role in developing high-quality, engaging learning experiences for our staff and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to assess learning needs and recommend technology-based and blended solutions.
- Design and develop technology-based learning modules and paper-based instructional materials.
- Establish guidelines and standards for online course development.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to develop project goals, train objectives, and measurement.
- Manage the implementation of projects, including work plans, scheduling resources, data collection, interfaces, training, testing, and software documentation.
- Provide support for software maintenance, including instruction, testing, and training for new and existing departmental systems.
- Evaluate program initiatives for effectiveness, feasibility, and cost, and develop, implement, and evaluate projects and performance standards to achieve blended learning technology throughout the institution.
- Bachelor's Degree in Instructional Design, Education, or a related field.
- 5 years of Instructional design experience, including full project life cycle.
- Competent in oral and written communications, effective leadership and interpersonal skills, and in-depth knowledge of authoring technologies, intranet design tools, and multimedia applications.
- Ability to use the A.D.D.I.E. model to create learning solutions and experience administering Learning Management Systems (LMS).
