Grady Memorial Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team in a Mammography Technologist position. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality mammography exams and providing exceptional patient care.

**Responsibilities**

  • Perform mammography exams on patients, adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines.
  • Operate and maintain mammography equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Develop and process mammography images, ensuring high-quality results.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Provide patient education and support, addressing any concerns or questions they may have.

**Requirements**

  • Must have successfully completed a two-year Radiology Technology program approved by the committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the AMA and the American Registry of Radiology Technologists.
  • Hold current certification in Radiologic Technology (mammo) with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

**Work Environment**

This is a full-time position, working Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively to meet deadlines.
