Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join our team at National Park Medical Center. As a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, you will play a critical role in producing high-quality images of the body's internal organs and tissues using specialized imaging equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality images of the body's internal organs and tissues.
  • Prepare patients for ultrasound procedures, including explaining the procedure and positioning the patient correctly.
  • Conduct ultrasound procedures, including scanning and imaging the patient's internal organs and tissues.
  • Analyze ultrasound images to identify any abnormalities or health issues.
  • Communicate findings to patients and healthcare providers, including providing recommendations for further testing or treatment.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree or higher in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field.
  • Current certification as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT).
  • 2+ years of experience as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer in a hospital or healthcare setting.
  • Strong knowledge of ultrasound principles and techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
