Responsibilities- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality images of the body's internal organs and tissues.
- Prepare patients for ultrasound procedures, including explaining the procedure and positioning the patient correctly.
- Conduct ultrasound procedures, including scanning and imaging the patient's internal organs and tissues.
- Analyze ultrasound images to identify any abnormalities or health issues.
- Communicate findings to patients and healthcare providers, including providing recommendations for further testing or treatment.
- Associate's degree or higher in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field.
- Current certification as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT).
- 2+ years of experience as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer in a hospital or healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of ultrasound principles and techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
