Job Title: Pre-Award Grants Coordinator

The International Rescue Committee (IRC) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pre-Award Grants Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our Grants Department, you will play a critical role in supporting the development and submission of grant proposals to secure funding for our humanitarian programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough research to identify potential grant opportunities that align with the IRC's business plan and priorities.
  • Collaborate with program teams to develop and submit high-quality grant proposals that meet the requirements of various funders.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of grant opportunities, proposals, and awards within our internal database systems.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community partners, donors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Stay up-to-date with donor policies, regulations, and procedures to ensure compliance and optimal grant management.
  • Provide support to sub-awardees, including performing due diligence and developing subaward agreements.
  • Participate in cross-departmental projects and meetings to ensure effective collaboration and representation of the Grants Department.
Requirements:
  • 4-year degree in a related field, such as business, public administration, or non-profit management.
  • At least 2 years of experience in grant writing, budgeting, and managing federal and/or state grants, with a strong background in donor relations.
  • Previous experience working in a non-profit agency or grant-funded environment is highly desirable.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
Working Environment:

This is a hybrid position, with a mix of remote and in-office work. The successful candidate will be based in Dallas or Abilene and will work closely with the Grants Manager and other team members to achieve our goals.
