Medical Care Unit Registered Nurse RN

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Methodist Hospital Stone Oak. As a Progressive Care Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in our 16-bed Stepdown/Progressive Care Unit.
Responsibilities- Deliver safe and effective nursing care to patients with intermediate-level needs, including post-CABG/Cath Lab patients, respiratory, and complicated GI patients.
- Collaborate with the patient care team to achieve quality patient outcomes and provide communication, confidence, and professionalism.
- Participate in unit and organizational activities, demonstrating teamwork, adaptability, and serving as a resource to the patient care team.
- Accountable for delivering quality nursing care services and promoting a positive image of nursing.
- Graduate of an accredited diploma, associates, or baccalaureate degree registered nursing program.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Methodist Hospital Stone Oak is a 280-bed hospital that offers a range of services, including emergency care, general surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, neonatology, oncology, neurosurgery, orthopedics, and acute rehab services. We are accredited by the Joint Commission as a Primary Stroke Center and Chest Pain Center, and our stroke rehabilitation program has received the Joint Commission's Gold Seal of Approval for Disease-Specific Care Certification of Stroke Rehabilitation.
