Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Board Certified Endocrinology Physician to join our multidisciplinary team at Ochsner Health. The successful candidate will have an opportunity to work with a dedicated subspecialty team and participate in various clinical activities, including thyroid FNAs, CGMS, Thyroid US, and Bone Density interpretation.
Key Responsibilities
- Patient assessment and management: Conduct thorough assessments and develop personalized treatment plans for patients with endocrine disorders.
- Clinical trial participation: Collaborate with researchers to design and implement clinical trials related to endocrine diseases.
- Mentorship: Engage in mentoring our four endocrinology fellows, internal medicine residents, and medical students on rotation.
- Research and education: Develop and teach educational programs for healthcare professionals and patients.
Required Qualifications
- Board certification in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism.
- Eligible for Louisiana medical licensure.
- Demonstrated experience in clinical trials and mentoring.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
