Key Responsibilities:
- Safeguard and oversee all assets, personnel, patients, and visitors within the healthcare facilities.
- Conduct regular patrols and document all routine activities and incidents.
- Enforce institutional policies and state regulations while adhering to guidelines set by regulatory agencies.
- May take on leadership responsibilities and perform additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Current certification in a California Guard Card and D.O.J. Chemical Agent.
- BLS Certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross is required.
- A valid driver's license is essential.
The ideal candidate will possess strong public relations skills and understand the impact of their actions on the organization. They should be adept at managing relationships with security personnel, law enforcement, and healthcare staff. Physical capabilities to handle various intervention scenarios, including patient restraints, are necessary. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to assess emergency situations and implement appropriate solutions in line with established protocols.
