Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of professionals in providing community residential services, fostering a supportive environment that empowers individuals to achieve their goals and aspirations.
  • Oversee the operations of multiple services, ensuring that quality care is delivered to those we serve.
  • Maintain a safe and secure environment, 24/7, 365, and oversee the completion of all duties assigned to the Designated Coordinator per 245D requirements.
  • Develop and implement effective support plans, utilizing data systems to measure the effectiveness of services and supports.
  • Collaborate with Behavioral Analysts, Autism Specialists, Therapists, and medical professionals to provide comprehensive care.
  • Provide guidance, encouragement, and support to individuals to develop and implement personal life plans that promote personal growth, development, and increased strengths and coping abilities.

Qualifications and Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a field related to Human Services, with a minimum of one year of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities and/or persons age 65 and older.
  • Associate's degree in a field related to Human Services, with a minimum of two years of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities and/or persons age 65 and older.
  • Diploma in a field related to Human Services from an accredited postsecondary institution, with a minimum of three years of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities and/or persons age 65 and older.
  • Minimum of 50 hours of education and training related to Human Services and disabilities, with four years of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities and/or persons age 65 and older under the supervision of a staff person who meets the qualifications identified in the above clauses.
  • Two-three years of supervisory experience, as well as team building and leadership skills.
  • Experience working with individuals who display behaviors and/or medical supports.
  • Driver's license required.
  • CPR certificate, First Aid, and Medication Administration training required but can be obtained after hire.
  • Bureau of Criminal Affairs (BCA) clearance required.
  • Motor Vehicle Check (MVR) with a satisfactory driving record required.
