Job Summary

This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies in the Naval Air Systems Command. To be considered, applicants must follow the directions in the "How to Apply" section of this flyer. The selected candidate will assist in cyber security risk assessments, physical security assessments, user awareness training, and develop accreditation documentation. The ideal candidate will work as part of a team or alone, troubleshoot problems efficiently, and install, setup, and sustain network routers and switches for LAN or WAN configurations.

Requirements

The selected candidate must have at least one year of information technology related experience in the federal service or private or public sector. The experience must demonstrate proficiency in IT systems, plans, and functions, as well as knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems. The candidate must also have strong problem-solving skills and be able to work effectively in a team environment.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in computer science, engineering, information science, information systems management, mathematics, operations research, statistics, or technology management. Alternatively, the candidate may have a graduate degree with a minimum of 24 semester hours in one or more of the fields identified above and required the development or adaptation of applications, systems or networks.
