As a Loan Operations Specialist at Stock Yards Bank & Trust, you will engage in a variety of tasks related to the establishment and management of consumer and commercial loans, letters of credit, and leasing agreements.

Key Responsibilities

Your daily activities will encompass a wide range of duties, including but not limited to the following:

  • Setting up systems for new and renewed consumer and commercial loans, letters of credit, and lease agreements.
  • Processing and reconciling payments and disbursement transactions related to finalized loans, letters of credit, and leases.
  • Handling specialized processes for International Letters of Credit, Corresponding Banking, SWAPS, Participation, Syndications, and more.
  • Reviewing loan documentation in finalized packages for completeness, maintaining application systems, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and bank policies through post-audit processes.
  • Addressing and updating all exceptions in loan documentation within the system.
  • Delivering exceptional service quality with significant interaction with internal stakeholders.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.
  • Making informed decisions within the guidelines established by the Loan Operations Department.
  • Collaborating closely with all team members in Loan Operations.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Experience in banking, specifically in loan processing, is essential.
  • Strong attention to detail is necessary.
  • Effective communication skills with both internal and external customers, colleagues, and management.
  • High organizational skills with a focus on accuracy and detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal abilities to manage sensitive matters with tact and discretion.
  • Familiarity with Premier Navigator is preferred.
