ROLE SUMMARY

Fashion Consultants are the essence of our brand and the cornerstone of every role at South Moon Under. As a personal styling authority, you deliver exceptional service by fulfilling and surpassing our customers' expectations. Fashion Consultants are tasked with crafting distinctive and thoughtfully curated outfits for clients that enhance their best features, bring them joy, and foster enduring connections with the brand. Through this tailored experience, our Fashion Consultants instill confidence through style.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Customer Engagement | Brand Representation
    • Effectively communicate the South Moon Under brand ethos to all clientele.
    • Enhance the shopping experience by engaging with every customer, addressing their needs, and ensuring they feel appreciated.
    • Exemplify the brand's aesthetic and maintain a strong fashion sense.
    • Navigate the sales floor actively, interacting with both colleagues and customers to meet their needs with product suggestions and curated styling.
    • Contribute to achieving and surpassing all performance metrics and objectives for the store by providing exceptional service.
  • Team Collaboration | Communication
    • Foster positive relationships with team members and contribute to a supportive team environment.
    • Work together with colleagues to ensure outstanding customer service and assist with store operations.
  • Visual Merchandising | Operational Excellence
    • Uphold South Moon Under's visual and operational standards while prioritizing customer focus.
    • Assist in the daily inventory and omni-channel fulfillment processes.
    • Possess a comprehensive understanding of our point-of-sale system to ensure a smooth transaction experience for customers.
    • Perform cleaning duties as necessary throughout the shift to maintain an inviting atmosphere.
    • Adhere to safety policies and procedures to ensure a secure environment.
    • Execute tasks in accordance with relevant policies, procedures, laws, and regulations.
    • Carry out additional responsibilities related to the qualifications and requirements of the position.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience in customer service.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

To perform the essential functions of this role, you must be able to frequently stand, walk, talk, and hear. Occasional sitting, reaching with hands and arms, and stooping, kneeling, or crouching may be required. You may also need to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Normal vision and depth perception are necessary.

This is a non-management, part-time position.
