Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Plumbing Specialist to join our team at McHales Inc.

The successful candidate will have proven experience as a plumbing installer, with a focus on kitchen and bathroom installations. They will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining the plumbing systems in residential kitchens and bathrooms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and connect plumbing systems including pipes, drainage systems, faucets, sinks, dishwashers, garbage disposals, bathtubs, showers, and water heaters.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications for kitchen and bath installations.
  • Troubleshoot plumbing issues during installation and make necessary repairs or adjustments.
  • Ensure all plumbing work complies with national and local plumbing codes and safety standards.
  • Test and inspect plumbing installations to ensure proper functioning and leak-free performance.
  • Collaborate with other trades (electricians, carpenters, etc.) to ensure smooth workflow and project completion.
  • Maintain a clean and organized worksite.
  • Communicate effectively with project managers and clients regarding project status and any potential issues.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a plumbing installer, with a focus on kitchen and bathroom installations.
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, piping materials, and installation techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project plans.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
