Position Overview:

The role involves direct collaboration with clients to establish functional specifications and to design, configure, implement, and validate control systems and software applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate within a team of engineers and designers from RoviSys, as well as partners and clients, to deliver cutting-edge Control Systems aimed at enhancing efficiency, product quality, and profitability in process manufacturing.
  • Create Life Cycle documentation, electrical panels, control architecture, and wiring schematics in accordance with GMP standards.
  • Revise and update P&ID documentation.
  • Define and execute configurations for distributed control systems (DCS).
  • Conduct testing and on-site commissioning and validation of control systems.
  • Lead teams of engineers and technicians in delivering control system solutions.
  • Provide mentorship to junior engineers.
  • Establish engineering standards to boost efficiency and accuracy in project execution.
  • Offer technical sales assistance to the RoviSys business development team.

Qualifications:

  • 2-8 years of experience in automation.
  • Familiarity with platforms such as Microsoft Windows and Emerson DeltaV.
  • Comprehensive understanding of control system design and programming.
  • Self-driven with excellent communication skills and a passion for teamwork.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Computer, or Chemical Engineering or Engineering Technology.
  • Practical experience with current Emerson DeltaV systems.
  • Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship from RoviSys.
