Compressor Operator

Gunstock Mountain Resort is seeking a skilled Compressor Operator to join our Snowmaking team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for monitoring and controlling the computerized process control systems for our snowmaking operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate 13 vertical turbine pumps and 2 air compressors, powered by large horsepower electric motors.
• Communicate effectively with snowmakers to ensure maximum snowmaking efficiency.
• Assist with the maintenance of pipe and valve systems as needed.

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a current valid driver's license.
• Strong communication skills and ability to anticipate and react to changing weather conditions and production needs.
• Basic working knowledge of snowmaking systems required.
• Prior experience with mechanical repairs and troubleshooting preferred.
