Job Summary

The Electro Optical Infrared Systems (EOIS) line of business within DRS is seeking a Product Manager to enhance existing products and/or develop new products for an assigned product area. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of product development and engineering processes, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze market data, including product specific sales, overall sales volume, and competitive product releases and pricing strategies for assigned product area and recommend marketing objectives and strategies
  • Participate with cost accounting, marketing management, and other functional areas in the development of pricing and cost recommendations
  • Develop and possibly oversee the generation of marketing reports as they pertain to the product line(s)
  • Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree preferred with at least five years of related experience, and a minimum of 3 years of experience with direct product management responsibility
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a US DoD clearance as needed, which requires US citizenship
  • Demonstrated business and technical acumen
  • Demonstrated ability to develop market strategies
  • Thorough understanding of product development and engineering processes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Understanding of Marketing Communications and Product Marketing
  • Strong customer relationship skills
  • Strong computer and organizational skills
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
