We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our Hospice Home Care team. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to individuals in need.
Key Responsibilities- Assist nurses with various basic care activities, including dressing, grooming, bathing, and feeding patients.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as temperature, pulse, and respiration rate.
- Provide simple or uncomplicated patient care, including administering medication as directed by a physician or nurse.
- Clean patient rooms and change bed linens.
- Transport patients and assist with mobility needs.
- Minimum age requirement of 18 years.
- Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
- Certification as a CNA or Home Health Care Aide, if required by state licensure.
- Completion of a recognized home care aide training program or 6 months of recent experience as an aide.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and utilize proper body mechanics.
