We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medication Aide to join our team at Mira Vie at Montville. As a Medication Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by providing medication management services and personal care.
Key Responsibilities- Administer medications to residents in accordance with physician orders and service plans.
- Provide personal care services, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, to residents in a respectful and dignified manner.
- Communicate effectively with medical professionals, families, and other healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Document resident care and services provided in accordance with regulatory standards and company policies.
- Participate in Continuous Quality Improvement initiatives to ensure high-quality care and services.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure resident needs are met and exceeded.
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
- One year of experience in a caregiving role or similar function.
- State Required HHA Certification or CNA License.
- Supervisory experience of six months or more in a health-related field.
- Ability to read and understand physician orders and medication administration records.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and ability to communicate effectively with medical professionals.
