POSITION SUMMARY


This role is accountable for evaluating patient and family health concerns and resources, taking a leadership position in the formulation, execution, and assessment of a nursing care plan delivered by the nursing team, as well as providing direct nursing services and interventions to designated patient groups.

This role necessitates delivering services to one or more age demographics, in a manner that reflects an understanding of the functional and developmental age of the individual served.

This role requires full comprehension and active involvement in fulfilling the Mission of Blessing Hospital.

It is anticipated that the employee exhibits behavior consistent with the Core Values while supporting the strategic plan, objectives, and direction of the Performance Improvement Process (PIP) at Blessing Hospital.


QUALIFICATIONS FOR REGISTERED NURSES

Education/Training/Experience:

REQUIRED:
Graduate of an RN School of Nursing

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

PREFERRED:
Certification in clinical specialty when eligible.

BSN

Licenses/Certifications/Special Requirements:
Possesses current State RN license.

Completes Basic Cardiology Course within 6 months of hire.

Completes ACLS within 6 months of hire and maintains.

Completes annual skills validation.

Pay Status:
Non-Exempt Hourly
