Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience. Additional benefits include paid time off (PTO), six observed holidays with premium pay or leave, tuition/education reimbursement up to $5,000 per calendar year, take-home wages of up to 75% of net earned wages at the end of every shift, 401(k) retirement plan with company-matched contributions after one year of employment, medical, dental, vision, life, and other voluntary insurances for full-time employees.

Job Description

The Certified Medication Aide will be responsible for performing resident care responsibilities in a manner conducive to their safety and comfort. This includes administering medications as ordered by a physician under the supervision of a licensed nurse, maintaining knowledge of 'five rights' of medication administration, recording all medication given to residents, and notifying appropriate licensed staff when a resident complains of pain. The role may also involve taking and recording vital signs of residents, answering call lights, and observing for and reporting any reactions and/or side effects of medications.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have a high school diploma or general equivalency, valid certification as a Certified Medication Aide in the state of Oklahoma, and six months experience in a long-term care environment. You should be able to react decisively and quickly in emergency situations, communicate effectively with residents and facility staff, and maintain a working email address and phone number for employer communication.
