Job Description

Veolia North America is seeking a highly skilled Environmental Protection Technician to join our team. In this role, you will provide specialized transportation and disposal services to our clients while ensuring adherence to state and federal environmental regulations.

Main Responsibilities
• Sample waste streams according to company policies and procedures
• Develop and implement effective solutions to address client concerns and issues
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including DOT and EPA requirements
• Operate and maintain equipment to optimize efficiency and effectiveness
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives
• Provide exceptional customer service and support to internal and external stakeholders
• Other duties as assigned

Essential Qualifications
• High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred
• Proven experience in environmental protection or a related field
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Valid driver's license required; CDL certification a plus
• 40-hour HAZWOPER Certification required
