Branch Manager II

The Branch Manager II is a key leadership position responsible for directing the operations of a medium-sized remote bank facility. The successful candidate will ensure the branch meets organizational, financial, operational, service, and growth plans. This role requires a strong leader who can motivate and direct branch staff to achieve maximum productivity and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadership and Management: Manage direct reports to maximize productivity, efficiency, and the potential of the human assets of the company. This includes hiring, directing job assignments, monitoring staff performance, coaching, counseling, training, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational mission, values, policies, and work rules.
- Loan Underwriting: Underwrite loans within authorized levels and review loan underwriting decisions of subordinate personnel.
- Customer and Community Relations: Represent the branch in its relationships with customers and business, community, and civic organizations, as well as suppliers, other financial institutions, and other similar groups. Inspire subordinates to participate in community service activities, groups, and Boards to represent the Bank.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Monitor all branch activities to ensure they are in compliance with established bank policies, procedures, and government regulations.
- Communication and Reporting: Maintain communications with main office, prepare and submit standard reports, and attend scheduled management meetings.
- Education and Experience: 7 or more years of similar or related experience, including preparatory experience, is required. A Bachelor's degree is required, and an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be considered. Management experience is preferred.
- Skills and Abilities: Strong ability to solve problems and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities. Ability to establish and maintain effective personal working relationships with peers and supervisors. Ability to handle multiple projects and details simultaneously. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions.
The Branch Manager II will work in a climate-controlled shared work area with moderate noise level. Occasional travel is required, and the employee must be able to lodge in public facilities.
